The Small Business for Sustainable Development Program

The Small Business for Sustainable Development Program scheduled for 2012-2013 is aimed at improving the wellbeing of the population of Moscow and Ryazan oblasts through small business development. The Program includes a new component – training for trainers: improving the professional qualification of the staff of municipal small business support centers.

As a result of the Program, 320 first-time entrepreneurs and unemployed residents will be trained in the basics of starting a small business. The participants will be selected with the help of municipal employment centers and small business support centers. Training will be conducted by 16 staff members of municipal small business support centers that have been trained under the Program. After the end of training, a mini-grants contest for small business development will be held.
