Project news "Mother and Child". April 2006

As a result of project activities, an artificial pulmonary ventilation machine for maternity patients and newborns was put into operation and a monitor for observing patients was installed. The compressor for the artificial pulmonary ventilation machine was acquired at cost of co-funding provided by the local budget.

Shelekhov Raion Mayor Susin has asked the coordinator of this project to become a member of the city’s delegation that will visit Japan to share experience and the results of activities carried out in the sphere of improving mother and child health.
