Community Development Support Program in Russia

FSD Advisory Committee meeting was held  February 21, 2008 in Moscow.

Eight members, representing State Ministries and NGOs discussed the Community Development Support  Program and approved in total 11 proposals in competitively selected communities in North Caucasus Region (Chechnya Republic and North Osettia) .
Each community proposal (Consortium) consists of 3 projects, which will  ensure the synergetic effect and sustainable development. The main projects in each Consortium are Energy  Efficiency projects with estimated savings which due to the developed mechanism of funds reinvestment will help communities to build a prosperous future and civil society.
