Sixth-Round Projects of the Community Development Support Program Were Successfully Completed in Baikal Region

All Projects of the Community Support Development Program Are Approved by the Russian Federation Government Commission on International Humanitarian and Technical Aid
On its session held on September 23, 2010, the Commission officially authorized the projects of the 6th Grant Round of the Community Development Support Program that is currently being carried out by the Fund for Sustainable Development (FSD) with financial support from USAID. As a result, along with the participants in the previous five grant rounds of the Program registered with the Commission, nine new recipients, including four FSD Regional Centers (see list below) based in different regions of the country, will receive government certificates verifying that funds they are receiving under the Program are technical assistance. Thus, all participants in the Program, as well as FSD, have been granted tax and customs relief in compliance with Federal Law # 95 of May 4, 1999. These projects can now successfully implement their planned activities aimed at encouraging environmentally sound development in small communities.
