A Telebridge between Six Cities Marks the Successful Fulfillment of the “Male Health Culture” Project

On September 29, 2009, a telebridge was held as part of the project “Medical, Social, Organizational, Cultural and Educational Aspects of Male Health Protection as a Factor of National Security” (short title - Male Health Culture).

This project became the winner of an open grant contest of socially significant projects in the area of advertising healthy life styles and environmental health protection projects. The contest was held in 2008 among non-profit non-governmental organizations.

The telebridge included six cities: Ulan-Ude, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and Novosibirsk. Over 60 health care specialists (urologists, andrologists, psychologists, sex therapists and gynecologists), professionals from family development and reproductive health centers, teachers and students of medical schools and representatives of NGOs gathered in the auditoriums of the partner cities for this event.

The goal of the conference was to share experience in advertising healthy lifestyles, preventing male health disorders, protecting male health, introducing health techniques and presenting and discussing the results of studies on the subject of male health.
