The Fund for Sustainable Development will become one of the participants in the joint Social Partnership Program of Eurochim Mineral Chemical Company and USAID.

On May 23, a Memorandum of Cooperation was concluded between  Eurochim Mineral Chemical Company and the United States Agency for International Development.

The goal of such cooperation is to design and implement a program for improving the social environment in regions where this company is currently operating. The Program will be launched in the city of Nevinnomysk in Stavropol Krai, which is the site of one of Eurochim plants, Nevinnomysk Azot.

Eurochim has contributed $1 million and USAID has allocated $300,000 to the Social Partnership Program. In addition, USAID will provide a mass of its experience that has been accumulated during the many-years of working on similar programs in Russia.

The Fund for Sustainable Development will be one of the expert organizations involved in the Program. It will work on the issue  “Environmental and Public Health in Regions of Eurochim Presence” and will coordinate projects aimed at improving health and the quality of life in respective regions.
