The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Fund for Sustainable Development

The  November 2006 regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Fund for Sustainable Development was attended by the following members of the Board of Directors:
Victor Danilov-Danilian, Director of the Russian Academy of Sciences Institute of Water Problems and Chairman of the FSD Board of Directors; Sergei Shapkhayev, Director of the Buryatia Regional Association on Lake Baikal; Barbara Felitti, Country Director, Ukraine, Institute for Sustainable Communities; Oleg Fokin, FSD Executive Director; Leonid Vindman, Vice President, IBD J.P. Morgan Bank International; and Alexander Kosarikov, Deputy of the RF State Duma.

Representatives of V.Malkin, member of FSD Steering Committee and member of the RF Federal Assembly Federation Council:  Y. Levin, head of staff, and E.Baldanova, assistant.

The meeting discussed organizational, program and financial areas of FSD activities. FSD Program Director Ruslan Butovsky made a presentation devoted to the current and planned programs of the Fund and to the results of already completed projects.

New candidates for the Board of Directors and the Steering Committee of the Fund were also discussed.

The meeting proceeded in an affable and constructive atmosphere, with the Board of Directors generally approving the work of the Fund carried out during the reporting period from February through November 2006.
