The Fund for Sustainable Development Took Part in the SEE Your Future: Society, Economy and Environment Conference

This Conference was held on February 18, 2010 in Moscow at the Higher School of Economics and was sponsored by the youth organization AIESEC with the aim of increasing youth awareness about the concepts and opportunities of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. The Conference was attended by over 100 students of economics, humanities and technical departments of Moscow leading universities, business representatives and journalists.

Victor Danilov-Danilyan, director of the Institute of Water Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences and the chairman of FSD Board of Directors, appeared at the Conference with his speech devoted to “The Lessons of the Global Financial and Economic Crisis and Sustainable Development” based on several publications, inlcuding articles printed in the journals Questions of Economics (No. 7, 2009) and Economics and Mathematical Methods (No. 3, 2003).
