Decisions of the Regular Meeting of the Advisory Committee Working Group of the Fund for Sustainable Development.

The members of the meeting of the Advisory Committee Working Group of the Fund for Sustainable Development that took place on September 12, 2007, discussed project proposals submitted for the second contest of the Community Development Support Program in the Russian Federation.

The projects were joined into six complexes and will be implemented in the Northern Caucasus (North Ossetia and the Republic of Dagestan), Lake Baikal Region (Republic of Buryatia and Irkutsk Oblast) and the Russian Far East (Khabarovsk Krai).
The members of the Working Group provided their comments and suggestions regarding the upgrade of some of the projects. As a result of the discussion and voting, funding was allocated to all 20 projects, which will begin their work in October 2007.

The Working Group meeting was also attended by observers, representatives of FSD partner organizations from the journal Practice of Municipal Management and the Volnoye Delo Philanthropic Fund, and also by the assistant to a member of the Federation Council from the Republic of Buryatia.
