The Fund for Sustainable Development Took Part in the First National Exhibition of Public Organizations

On November 2-4, the exhibition “Civil Society: Healthy Life Styles, Public Health, and Environmental Protection” took place in Moscow at the All-Russia Exhibition Center. The exhibition was organized by the NGO National Health League headed by Academician Leo Bokeria, Chairman of the RF Public Chamber Commission on Healthy Living.

The main goal of the exhibition was to inform the broad public, the RF Presidential Staff, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, members of commissions at the State Duma and the Council of Federation of the RF Federal Assembly, the RF Public Chamber and the press about the activities of non-profit organizations working on socially significant projects in the sphere of forming healthy life styles, protecting human health and addressing conservation issues.

The sections of the exhibition included the following:

• Advertising healthy life styles
• Public health
• Environmental health

Nearly one hundred organizations presented their socially significant projects at the exhibition and shared experience and successful results in the area of implementing programs advertising healthy life styles and promoting health and environmental protection.

The programs of the Fund for Sustainable Development in the area “Environment and Public Health” were presented to the participants and guests on November 3 in the course of a specially organized television presentation of projects.
