Twenty First Regional FSD Support Center Seminar

On September 22, 2007 a seminar of the Regional Centers (RC) of the  Fund for Sustainable Communities was held in Yekaterinburg to discuss the progress of CDSP (Community Development Support Program in the Russian Federation), GDA (Model Communities Initiatives) and other FSD programs; and to define the role of RC in working on these programs and promoting FSD institutionalization.
The seminar consisted of two sessions:

Session 1 was devoted to projects of CDSP’s First and Second Grant Rounds; the results of GDA project complex implementation; to the closing seminar of this program that will take place in Nizhny Novgorod; and also to project activities under EuroChem programs co-funded by USAID, the Ford Foundation, AlCOA and BP.

Session 2 included a discussion of work plans for 2007-2008, the grant and other components of CDSP, and the role of RC in their fulfillment.
