New Year’s is time of gifts and pleasant surprises, when many dreams come true. It is no wonder that the project “Children’s Dreams” brought much joy to the children of Nevinnomyssk on the very eve of this one of the most favorite and long-awaited holidays.
On December 21, EuroChem Company made a special gift to the local children through its joint pilot project with the United States Agency for International Development and the Fund for Sustainable Development “Environment and Public Health in Nevinnomyssk”: in only three days, a sport and recreation complex and a volleyball court were built in the schoolyard of Gymnasium # 10. These facilities are now open not only to the pupils of the Gymnasium, but to the children attending a neighboirng kindergarten and to all the other young members of the community.
During an impromptu opening ceremony of the playground, specially invited guests – representatives of EuroChem, the City Administration, the Community Council, the management of the Gymnasium and the contracting organization and parents – shared the joy of the pupils and their teachers.
The guests and best students of the Gymnasium cut the symbolic ribbon, after which the complex was immediately occupied by children. The bright and fascinating elements of the complex were tested and enjoyed.
Over 470,000 rubles were invested in this project, which has become a matter of pride for adults and brought much happiness to children. It is a good and demonstrative example that should become traditional in the city of Nevinnomyssk.
“Caring for the young generation is one of the key components of the socially responsible policy pursued by EuroChem,” says Victor Kail, executive director of OJSC Nevinnomyssky Azot, a township forming enterprise and part of a chemical giant. “A company cannot exist and develop normally, if its personnel and their children lack a feeling of confidence and security. And this, naturally, depends not only on working conditions, but also on the quality of every-day life. The project “Children’s Dreams” is an investment in the future of the young residents of the city that will ensure their harmonious development and, simply, a good mood.”Nikolai Zhukov,
