The session of the Advisory Committee Working Group of the Fund for Sustainable Development was held in October

The session considered the projects proposed for the second contest of the “Environment and Public Health in Nevinnomyssk and Other Regions of EuroChem Company Presence Program”.  Funding was approved for seven of these projects.

The session was attended by Anna Ivanchuk, senior economist at Nevinnomyssk City Administration, who stressed that the Program was perceived with much interest by local organizations: “After the first project contest, we witnessed practically an upsurge of initiatives among the organizations of Nevinnomyssk. For the second contest, 24 organizations prepared projects, which they presented at a special meeting at the City Administration. Such an interest and enthusiasm among the community demonstrates a need in the Program, and we may expect good results if it will be continued.”
