The CDSP-ICT Program is Launched

“Introduction of best community energy-saving practices” – was the subject of the first online seminar (webinar) organized on September 13, 2011 by the Fund for Sustainable Development. This event marked the start of the new initiative – Community Development Support Program based on ICT (CDSP-ICT Program) scheduled for 2011-2014.

The participants in the webinar – energy experts, municipal officials, representatives of specialized businesses and staff of non-profit and public organizations from Moscow, Khabarovsk, Ulan-Ude, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod – shared ideas and put forward proposals on community issues in the field of energy-saving that need to be addressed by the projects of the first round of the CDSP-ICT Program. The webinar presentations will be placed on the internet portal Municipal at http://municipal-sd.ru/ and e-journal http://fsdejournal.ru/

The outcomes of the discussion will be taken into account in the process of setting the priorities of the first grant round of the CDSP-ICT Program and will be reflected in the final version of the “Concept Paper Writing Manual”.
